Thanks for your well wishes and for a most appropriate thought for the Newtown victims' families and friends. (Yes, it's a short blog, but a good one.)
David, I'm infringing on your comment section to thank everyone who commenting on "Copping Out" yesterday. I would have responded to each of you, but tragedy struck a dear friend of mine yesterday morning, and I didn't get back to the computer until today.
To each and every reader and writer of SS--my most sincere wishes for a wonderful day!

A short but effective blog, David.

Fran, I'm also sorry to hear about your friend.

Merry Christmas to all of our readers and writers.

My sincere sympathies, Fran. And all the blessings of the season to all of you!
And, as we frequently say in these, Happy Reading!

So sorry to hear about your friend, Fran. David - a great post. As the old prayer says, may there be peace on this earth, in my lifetime, in my heart...
Merry Christmas!
