What To Do With the Body... AGAIN...

Back in 2021 I wrote a blogpost about What To Do With The Body (HERE) - and I still think "the woodchipper in a boat over a good crab nursery" is probably the best idea, but try and find one of those inland.  And while I still have no intention of needing any of the suggestions, I am continually amazed by – and thankful for – the stupidity of real-life murderers.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez

D4vd – Back on September 8, 2025, 14 year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez's body – in a severely decomposed state in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to musician D4vd in a Hollywood Hills tow yard.

"The Tesla had been at the impound lot for two days after being found abandoned on a Hollywood street, investigators said. The towed vehicle was registered to Burke. Officers had responded to the impound lot "for a foul odor coming from a vehicle," Los Angeles police said."  (LINK)

Gruesome details:

  • "D4vd ordered two chainsaws, a body bag and an inflatable pool on Amazon using a fake name. Investigators say fragments of that pool were found in cut wounds on Celeste's body." (Her body had been dismembered and put in two sacks.) and
  • "D4vd traveled to a location in Santa Barbara County multiple times after Celeste's death, including the night she was murdered, and a Caltrans worker later found the teen's passport card discarded in that area in January of 2025." (LINK)
  • And LINK to a general story about the whole mess so far.

I have questions about the whole thing:

  • Why can't people get it in their heads that dead bodies quickly stink?
  • Was there an accomplice?  D4vd was either one cold mf or he had help doing all the things that were done to the victim, not to mention cleaning the place up afterwards...  (NOTE to prosecuters:  check what cleaning agency worked for him.)
  • Why was the Tesla left abandoned on a Hollywood street?  You mean no one tried to steal the damn thing?  Or even just vandalize it?  Isn't that just begging the cops to find it?
  • I also want to know if her parents knew that she was "dating" D4vd at 13, and why they allowed it, but I can come up with my own list of answers to that.

Speaking of dead bodies and the inevitable stench, check out this story:

"A suspicious death investigation is underway after a body was found inside the Rodeway Inn at 1313 N. Lacrosse Street.
The Rapid City Police Department says officers were dispatched around noon on July 14 for a report of a deceased person located inside a room at the hotel. The case is being handled jointly with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.
The body was identified as Jason Horned Eagle, 33, of Rapid City. Police say an autopsy has been conducted, and detectives are now awaiting toxicology results and additional forensic testing to determine Horned Eagle’s specific cause of death. Based on information gathered so far, detectives believe Horned Eagle’s body had been left in the hotel room for several months, according to police.
Police also announced three people have been arrested in connection with efforts to conceal the body. Detectives say the individuals had knowledge of Horned Eagle’s death and made attempts to conceal his body in the hotel. All three are charged with Improper Disposal of a Body."  (LINK)

My Notes:
  • SEVERAL MONTHS???
  • SEVERAL MONTHS IN AN ACTIVE MOTEL???
  • Where was the body hidden?  Comments on FB:
    • "I've actually seen [hiding it under the bed] on a true crime channel. I managed a motel and started having the maids do deep cleaning by cleaning under the box springs. In the maintenance hallway or ceiling wrapped in plastic would be my other guesses. It's crazy what you find in the ceiling tiles. (I and the staff were trying to bring the clientele up from where it was, so it was a complete overhaul)"
    • "Manager must have managed to keep that room off the available list."
  • My input:  Did they pack the entire bathroom with ice from the ice machine?
  • Who managed to somehow avoid renting out that room?
  • Forever cross off the Rodeway Inn in Rapid City from my list of hotels in the area.
Meanwhile, purely informational:
