The gist is that Judas was Jesus' favorite and most trusted disciple, and for Christ's vision and long-term plan to work, He begged Judas to follow his instructions and set the betrayal in motion.Leigh Lundinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07921276795499571578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-58142590270759371822015-03-26T14:20:55.559-04:002015-03-26T14:20:55.559-04:00Eve, this was fascinating!!

There I was, having some local mushrooms for lunch while taking a stroll through the desert, when much to my surprise, I chanced upon the operation. Naturally, I was sworn to secrecy by members of Opus Dei on pain of death...oh, oh.

Enjoyed the piece, Eve.David Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13005457506363262838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-53645086729768863542015-03-26T11:15:47.751-04:002015-03-26T11:15:47.751-04:00Fascinating piece, Eve. I really enjoyed it.

Three years back I did a piece on hidden references to Easter in the works of Ellery Queen:

http://www.sleuthsayers.org/2012/04/easter-eggs-sequel.html

No one, to my knowledge, has ever been able to hazard a guess as to why these references were planted in the Queen mysteries. I wonder whether it could have been because Dannay or Lee were a bit obsessed with the same matters discussed in your article.Dale Andrewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10553503281187956955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-16450780813291272022015-03-26T10:55:02.997-04:002015-03-26T10:55:02.997-04:00Really interesting, Eve. If i am right she was the one who suggested that Dr Watson had Scottish ancestry, and his middle initial H stood for Hamish which is Scottish for James, which explains why his wife called him James when we know he was John. One explanation seems as likely as the other.

If Jesus was God he could have known about the colt and the man with the urn, so no explanation is needed. if he wasnt, the Gospel writers made up whatever fit their story line, and no explanation is needed.

But conpiracy theories are such fun, right?Robert Loprestihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08844889305615182897noreply@blogger.com
