I found mention that it was never attempted again, even though the ‘hinterlands’ and cast enjoyed it. It would be interesting for some college or someone like Nic to take a peek at it.

Elizabeth, I wondered the same thing, particularly as I first encountered the vignette without context or any idea what it was all about. I can only presume it relates to some ‘in’ joke between Barrie and Doyle, although I wondered if it might have foreshadowed something of the future Peter Pan and pixie dust.

Thanks, Eve. I’m glad you liked it. I enjoy these little bits of history.Leigh Lundinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07921276795499571578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-46905172588768147142015-11-08T18:32:56.901-05:002015-11-08T18:32:56.901-05:00I love it!

Wonder if anyone has ever given thought to reviving it, especially now that golf is more mainstream? As literature, it appeared pretty awful. It was only when I began to research it that the truth came out, that it wasn’t so much a ‘story’ as it was a bit of shared humor between friends.Leigh Lundinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07921276795499571578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-62562803678358420032015-11-08T10:07:02.034-05:002015-11-08T10:07:02.034-05:00How delightful!
