In 2009 I t...Thank you for the interesting article! In 2009 I took a job with an online newspaper, the Gouverneur Times, of Gouverneur, N.Y. up north in St. Lawrence County. I knew the town was named for Gouverneur Morris but didn't know anything about the man. Unlike him, the politics of the newspaper were extremely far to the right, but it didn't help anyone.
