So you do have to be careful. I try to do my driving around taking pictures before starting the book. I don't outline so I sometimes don't know what I need. However, we do have Google Maps helps. I honestly try to make as much true as I can, otherwise someone will find something wrong and toss your book out & tell their family & friends to not to read you book.Jan Grapehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13323910083703514953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-64764559057278396652013-03-11T19:30:56.347-04:002013-03-11T19:30:56.347-04:00I enjoy the research, one of the best parts of cre...I enjoy the research, one of the best parts of creative writing.Leigh Lundinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07921276795499571578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-65632349035110521832013-03-11T18:52:02.806-04:002013-03-11T18:52:02.806-04:00I agree with the police clerk– I wouldn't wear...I agree with the police clerk– I wouldn't wear that organ-grinder monkey costume either!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-86604024475195431462013-03-11T13:44:32.257-04:002013-03-11T13:44:32.257-04:00Wonderful post, Jan. Because, similar to what RT said, I often get so caught-up in the research that I have to bring myself back on track, if I try ot research facts once I start the writing.Dixon Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11220791609338404147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-80902289249415254422013-03-11T13:19:55.410-04:002013-03-11T13:19:55.410-04:00Jan, I frequently get lost in the research. The photography helps when writing the initial story and again when the same location recurs in a series.Fran Rizerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08655783035179620991noreply@blogger.com
