When I'm driving down the street with a load of teenagers in my Jeep Cherokee, and everybody suddenly bursts out laughing -- and I realize they're all texting to each other ... instead of talking! LOL

Well, I guess it's "POS" (Parent Over Shoulder) as my daughter might text, before quickly signing off.
--Dix

PS: I never got into crosswords until we all started working on the two in our local paper (a joint effort), while working at and/or visiting the cigar store. Since then, I've learned to enjoy them a lot -- even on my own. Which has made me feel much better about my love for Morse novels. lolDixon Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11220791609338404147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-49614946066925305272012-01-03T20:53:18.562-05:002012-01-03T20:53:18.562-05:00I hear you all on the phone business. I've go...I hear you all on the phone business. I've got an app on my phone that my kids use and love on theirs -- the one that lets you "talk" a message that then appears as text to transmit to a friend. Imagine that -- talking into a phone! What will they think of next!Dale Andrewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10553503281187956955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-63667594643151787562012-01-03T20:12:07.505-05:002012-01-03T20:12:07.505-05:00If Brad needs therapy, then I need the cure too. Now I'm pleased to learn it's history is more twisting that I thought. When I visited Dell's offices, Janet and Linda gave me a Dell magazine I'd been reading, Math and Logic Puzzles. I was so enamored with it, I ordered a subscription from Dell that evening.

I've found if I don't work sudoku for long periods, I seem to lose some of my ability (or at least techniques), and have to relearn, but, like mysteries, they are a fascinating game.Leigh Lundinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07921276795499571578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-21949223638950487852012-01-03T10:00:33.160-05:002012-01-03T10:00:33.160-05:00Watching my wife hard at work on one of her daily ...Watching my wife hard at work on one of her daily crossword puzzles and my step-mom immersed in a Sudoku, I wondered recently if I'm deviant. Though I'm an avid reader and writer of mysteries, I've never had any interest in puzzles. I've also never learned to play chess, and my cell phone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell; it can't do anything except place and receive calls, so game apps aren't an option. Do I need therapy?Brad Crowtherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10454685595587138185noreply@blogger.com
