Did you see any ghosts at the Blackburn? Redd Foxx suffered a fatal heart attack during a rehearsal in one of the sound stages. Sometimes a spotlight will switch on and shine down on the spot where he stood. The night security guards claim that they've see ghosts walking through the wall from the cemetery next door. A couple of the pages said they felt a cold hand touching them inside one of the stages. Then again, the way some of the studio's latest movies are tanking is pretty scary.Sally Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00068827626295000653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-50088481119138812792017-10-31T10:15:48.535-04:002017-10-31T10:15:48.535-04:00Paul, thanks for the Halloween/history tour. I never made it to any of the haunted hotels, although I did take up residence in the Blackburn Hotel (a couple of blocks off of Hollywood Blvd.) for a while, which had the longest, weirdest hallways of anyplace outside the Shining. Apparently it's either been torn down (and it deserved it), or remodeled into something else.

The cemetery is great. And spooky.
