Ditto for FOYLE'S WAR and of course LONGMIRE. It's cool to do it at your own pace, and watch as many or as few episodes as you like, especially when there's a serial arc running through multiple episodes, as there is with both JUSTIFIED and LONGMIRE. I agree it's pretty dark, Liz, but I loved the storyline and the actors too. One thing about these original Netflix-produced series: they aren't concerned about cancellation, so the writers are able to structure the whole series as if it were a very long novel and take their time playing it out. The same thing is true of Orange Is the New Black, which is pretty good also.

I'm looking forward to new seasons of half a dozen series, like Hell on Wheels, Longmire, Magic City,Boardwalk Empire, etc.

And I need to look into Hulu Plus, Liz--thanks for the tip.John Floydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04001712728130488485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-38029327650097688442014-01-11T10:20:31.437-05:002014-01-11T10:20:31.437-05:00We binged Foyle's War, all seasons, and we'...We binged Foyle's War, all seasons, and we're fixing to do the Maigrets with Michael Gambon.
