The face of the USA is changing. Look in the mirror. You the same? Of course not. Live with it. Apparently I accidentally used an html code to set it off. But this is what I cited as so clear: "When people are determined enough, they're gonna get through. There are tunnels along the border nice enough to live in. And they predate most of the fences. Of course they were paid for with drug money. And those are the "illegals" we should be homing in on.

I'm a Californian and exposed to the problem of illegals every day. I want something to be done about it, but mass deportation and jail terms are not the answer. The word "illegal" conjures up images of criminals with guns, up to no good. Most of the illegals here are law abiding individuals and should be treated accordingly. Quite frankly, I don't have the answer. Does anyone?

thanks for a great article.Herschel Cozinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06097703750150309319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-51849884467600723322013-07-04T12:32:12.368-04:002013-07-04T12:32:12.368-04:00I was talking to a friend of mine a few years ago,...I was talking to a friend of mine a few years ago, when our economy was starting to get really bad, about an article that said that Mexicans were wanting to go back south. He made a gesture with his hands and said, "They're going to dig under it."Reid Freeman Jenkinsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3119105822589181967.post-46890537536643632322013-07-04T10:55:16.527-04:002013-07-04T10:55:16.527-04:00Eve, thanks for a very interesting article. I was engaged to a man who had escaped one of those walls. The tale of his ordeal was almost unbelievable.

We were together several years. The last I communicated with him, he was being courted by the CIA. I've often been tempted to write his story, but even disguised and though I have no idea where he is, I always reject the idea because it would be an invasion through another kind of wall.Fran Rizerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08655783035179620991noreply@blogger.com
